SUCCESS! The Department of Educational Technology Introduces a Variety of Learning Media in an Exhibition

On June 8, 2023, the 2021 and 2022 Educational Technology undergraduate students jointly collaborated by holding a grand exhibition to introduce a variety of learning media to the general public. The exhibition took place at 08.00 WIB and took place at the Pendopo, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. This exhibition aims to introduce a variety of Learning Media, from non-digital media to digital-based media. This exhibition is also one of the participations of the Department of Educational Technology in supporting the MERDEKA LEARN curriculum program and celebrating Education Month. All the media on display are the work of Undergraduate Educational Technology students from the 2021 and 2022 batches, where most of the courses taken are development courses so that applying the PJBL learning model, at the end of the semester students are asked to make a product at the end of the semester.
Of the various courses taken by the 2021 and 2022 batches, the products on display include:
1. Short film with the theme of learning and education for the class of 2021 Video and Film Development course
2. LMS based on MOODLE for the 2021 ICT Development course
3. Assembler, Google Sites, Live Worksheet for the 2021 MMI Development course
4. Non-digital media from solid models to diorama models for the Media Model Development and Realia course class of 2021
5. Infographics, Educational Comics, Banners for the Graphic Design Development course class of 2022
In a joint interview with the chief executive, namely I Gede Pandu Nong , there were 137 media exhibited combined from the 2021 and 2022 media. Pandu also said that the preparation for making this exhibition only took less than 1 week, Pandu also expressed his many thanks to all the committee involved in making this exhibition a success. This grand exhibition is the first for the Department of Educational Technology, it is hoped that in the future this exhibition will become a regular exhibition held annually. This event was also attended by FIP and environmental officials and also one of the Deputy Deans from UNESA. There is also a sense of pride and respect for holding this exhibition so that the Kece Media Team from UNESA covered and made the branding of the Educational Technology department even better in the future. The extended family of Lecturers and students majoring in Educational Technology S1 also expressed their gratitude for all parties involved in the exhibition process of the project resulting from the PJBL learning model.
